I think very few can pursue their dreams as goals, because very few is able to make their dreams to be goals. Most of us fail in the process of seeing a dream come true. It is important to have goals in life without being obsessive over them. And for a person who has goals, has one for ever.

I guess goals are good as long as you take it in a personal competitive spirit as opposed to "This is all that matters" or "The reward is all that matters".

I guess what I'm trying to say is goals have the habit of taking you away from the moment and get you thinking continuously about the future (depending on your goal obsession). This could probably be as bad as always reminiscing the wonderful past (wonderful because you've forgot the shitty bits of it :)
